BV Legion hoping pitching helps playoff run

While Belle Vernon finished its 10-game American Legion baseball schedule with a six-game losing streak, the team enters the playoffs with a fresh and positive mindset. Belle Vernon, which started the summer with four straight wins, is the No. 3 seed heading into the legion playoffs and will meet No. 2 Charleroi.
