Rosalie R. Segin – North Belle Vernon

Rosalie R. Segin, 53, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Feb. 10, 1969, in North Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah E. Culp Segin. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area, Mrs. Segin was a member of First Christian Church of Fayette City, where she also helped teach Sunday School. She taught library and English at Belle Vernon Area Middle School and High School. She enjoyed reading and watching movies. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy Sue and Leonard Cole of Belle Vernon; and seven nieces and nephews, Michael Cole, Lenance Ashbaugh, Chris Cole, Louise Thomas, Kristie Bird, Daniel Bird and Matthew Bird. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jonnie Bird; and an aunt and uncle, Rosalie and Gerald Rhodaback, who helped raise her. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne R. Boring of First Christian Church of Fayette City officiating.
