Margaret Hammitt – Tennessee

Margaret Hammitt, 86, of Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. A daughter of the late Robert A. and Pauline Rigby Sisley, she was born in Charleroi on Oct. 17, 1935. A resident of Tennessee for the past three years, Margaret lived in Indiana from 1989 to 2004 and then Belle Vernon until 2019. A Christian lady, she loved cooking, watching the cooking channel and was active on the internet surfing recipes. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Bullock and Robert Bullock, both of Millington, Tenn.; a daughter, Elizabeth Wilson; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Hammitt Sr., on Feb. 19, 2018; and a daughter, Dianne Higdon, on June 29, 2016. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
