Lucille Weis – Bentleyville

Lucille Weis, 83, of Bentleyville, passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley. Born in Bentleyville on Aug. 4, 1938, she was the daughter of Joseph and Helen Lanco Pigeon Sr. Lucille was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish Bentleyville Campus and the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354 Cokeburg. Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her two sons, Eric (Heather) Weis of Coal Center and Philip (Sharon) Weis of Carlisle; three grandchildren, Philip, Chiara and Therese Weis; and three sisters, Frances Hohn of Carroll Township, Irene Gunderman of North Versailles, and Evelyn Basel of Belle Vernon. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Weis, in 1995; a sister, Diane Luketich; and three brothers, Joseph Pigeon Jr., Charles Pigeon and Walter Pigeon. Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, at LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 405 Main St., Bentleyville, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville. Interment will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Bentleyville. Online condolences may be expressed at www.pavlicfuneralhomes.com.
