BVA mulling student insurance option for devices

A cracked screen isn’t the end of the world for Belle Vernon Area students next school year.
Pending board approval Monday, a new insurance program could help the school district replace and maintain student tablets and laptops.
One2One Risk Solutions is a private insurance company that, through an arrangement with the district, would offer BVA parents/guardians the option to protect student devices for the entirety of the school year at a cost of $25.
