Terry D. Kohut Jr. – Charleroi

Terry D. Kohut Jr., 62, of Charleroi, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Born in Forward Township on July 17, 1959, he was the son of the late Terry D. Kohut and Norma C. Behanna Kohut, who survives and resides in Elizabeth. Terry was a former police officer with the Bentleyville Police Department and was a member of Ella Hollow Bible Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, camping, fishing, painting, gardening and canning the vegetables. He also loved all types of music and played the guitar, fiddle and harmonica. He was always late for his appointments. Terry had a big heart and always did for others before doing for himself! In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving companion, Carol Schaum; her daughter, Billie Jo Lenhart of Charleroi; her grandchildren, Jacob Sleith, Kerisha, Shali, D D and Leanna; and great-granddaughter, Nae Nae; his siblings, Valerie D. Kohut of Elizabeth, Tammy L. (Joseph) Posa of Elizabeth, Brian (Sheley) Kohut of Forward Township, and Donald J. (Rebecca) Kohut of White Oak; nieces and nephews, Amber, Mary Jo, Joey, Ashley, T J, Jeremy, Billy and Collette; great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter, Riley, Canden and Nicholas. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2022, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Gene Sigmund officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery.
