Rising costs lead to Ringgold property tax hike

The Ringgold Board of School Directors passed the district’s 2022-23 budget and discussed goals for the upcoming school year at a meeting Wednesday.
The $51.5 million budget constitutes a $3.6 million increase from last year. The median income household in the district will see a $44.50 increase in property taxes this year.
