Lorraine A. Vercoe – Roscoe

Lorraine A. Vercoe, 89, of Roscoe, died Monday, June 6, 2022. She was born Wednesday, June 8, 1932, in Belle Vernon, daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Burgan Oliphant. She loved to play cards and belonged to a card club. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Vercoe in 1991; son, Edward C. Vercoe; and two brothers, Charlie and Larry Oliphant. Left to cherish her memory are children, Debra Willis and husband Rodney and Ronald Vercoe and wife Phoebe; daughter-in-law, Kathy Vercoe; six grandchildren, Jaime Dundr and husband Jason, Ryan Vercoe, Gregory Skomsky, Dane Skomsky, Kristen Baker and husband Josh and James Vercoe. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren, Avery, Emmy, Aubry, Kaylee, Grayeson, Layla and Sawyer; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law. Funeral services were private and entrusted to MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa. Interment was in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
