Michael Robert ‘Robbie’ Powell – McKeesport and Smithton

Michael Robert “Robbie” Powell, 30, of McKeesport and Smithton passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. Born Nov. 30, 1991, in La Plata, Md., he was the son of Michael S. Powell of Tampa, Fla., and Nicole Hendrix of Smithton. Christian by faith, Michael worked as a programmer at Kiczan Manufacturing Inc., loved playing the guitar, enjoyed working on computers and video games and most of all spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Christian Kelly; two sisters, Angelica Kelly and Kaitlin Kelly; maternal grandmother, Karin deNijs; paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Ann Powell; aunts, Michelle Hendrix and Michele Phillips; uncle, Joshua Jensen; and cousins, Summer Wolfe, Sarah Black, Zachary Smail and Austin deNijs. Michael’s funeral arrangements are entrusted to PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183.
