Serra claims WPIAL gold

For the first time in six years, Serra Catholic’s baseball team has won a district title. The top-seeded Eagles held a slim one-run lead before scoring five in the bottom of the fifth inning en route to an 8-2 victory over seventh-seeded Neshannock in the WPIAL Class 2A championship game at Wild Things Park in Washington Tuesday afternoon.
