By obits

In loving memory of Carol Anne Mesiarik, 77, of North Versailles, who died at home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. She was born in Braddock on March 20, 1945, and is the daughter of the late Michael and Helen Trailer Murnek and the wife of the late Michael George Mesiarik, who died on June 9, 2015. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Anne Chabanik. Carol was employed at Bradywine Agency as a property manager for many years. She was affectionately called “Nana” by most and loved her family. She adored spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nana was an exceptional baker and loved to share her treats. She loved to make flower arrangements and added her special touch to every occasion. Carol was loved by all with her love, kindness, sparkle and smile. We will all miss this beautiful woman, who was the first to go out of her way for everybody. She is survived by daughters, Monica (Robert) Kitta of North Huntingdon; Linda (Jeffrey Sr.) Carlson of Wilmerding; Margaret (the late Nicholas) Ursta of Versailles; and Roseanne Debruyn  of Irwin; grandchildren, Ashley Kitta, Jeffrey Ryan Carlson Jr., Michael Debruyn, Cody Carlson and Adam Kitta; great-grandchildren, Blake Woolheater and Sophia Belle Lloyd; and fur babies, Karly, Kus-Kus and Candy. Family and friends will gather from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022, at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 200 Leger Road, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. Burial will follow.
