Daniels drives in four to lead Leopards over New Castle

With her team trailing by two runs with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning Wednesday evening, Belle Vernon Area junior Lexi Daniels stepped to the plate with a rather large smile on her face. She knew the importance of the moment and how a hit in the crucial situation could change the complexion of the game. Still, she remained confident in what the outcome would be.
