Plea deal reached in Rostraver Township official’s harassment case

A majority of the charges filed against Rostraver Township Commissioner John Lorenzo were withdrawn after a plea deal was reached between his defense and the state Attorney General’s office prior to his preliminary hearing Wednesday.
Lorenzo’s defense attorney, Martin Dietz, said the four separate cases he was charged in for allegedly harassing fellow commissioners and candidates via text and social media, were combined and many charges were dropped.
