Local veterans treated to lunch

Naomi Outreach hosted its annual luncheon for veterans Wednesday at the Cedarbrook Golf Course restaurant. U.S. Army veteran Dr. Mary Kreis spoke about the remembrance of Memorial Day. Naomi Outreach was started in the early 1990s by Joni Kelley in an effort to show compassion and caring to others, especially veterans. Shown above are veterans Lawrence Masci of Monessen, John Habel of Washington Township, Carl Mood of Rostraver Township, Fred Exley of Belle Vernon and Sam Cover of North Belle Vernon.
