Harry A. “Bud” Richardson Jr., 79, of Donora, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in his home. He was born Feb. 21, 1943, in New Eagle, the son of Harry Alfred and Dorothy E. Crawford Richardson. Harry retired from Kmart in Belle Vernon where he was a manager in the lawn and garden department. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War. Harry had a passion for fishing and enjoyed hunting. He is survived by two sons, Michael Richardson and wife Liz of the state of California, and Garrett Richardson and wife Juliann of Washington; daughter, Kelly Sesco and husband Chris of Finleyville; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two brothers, Ronald A. Richardson of Monessen, and Rocky Richardson and wife Penny of New Eagle; sister, Bonnie Megahan of West Mifflin; sister-in-law, Sharon Richardson of New Eagle; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terrence Richardson. There will be no visitations for Harry. Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022, with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. For those who are attending the service, the procession will leave FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, promptly at 12:15 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at www.fryefuneralhome.com.
