Major excavation to start on former Health Mart building in Monessen

It’s been a long time coming, but today is the day that excavators will be on scene at 500 Donner Ave. to begin demolishing the building.
WreckCrew Demolition will be at the former Health Mart in Monessen Thursday with heavy machinery to start removing large chunks of the structure. The workers will lay down a bed of dirt around the base of the building to act as a barrier for the sidewalk and street in case a large piece of the structure hits the ground.
