After months of preparation, the Mon Valley Playbook is officially up and running. On Thursday, a few dozen local leaders and legislators gathered at the Mon Valley Career and Technology Center in Speers to see the final product. A project initiated by the Mon Valley Alliance, the playbook includes 27 municipalities in Washington County and was funded through a 2018 Local Share Account grant that the MVA applied for on behalf of participating communities.  It will now officially serve as a marketing resource for participating communities to help promote their unique offerings to visitors and potential businesses.
