Gregg L. Bethem – Fallowfield Township

Gregg L. Bethem, 72, of Fallowfield Township, passed away on April 17, 2022. Born on Oct. 10, 1949, he was the son of the late Leonard D. Bethem and Rose (Gregg) Atkins. He was Catholic by faith and was a retired freight hauler on the river barges. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and gardening, and was a member of the Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club. Gregg is survived by his siblings, David (Sherry) Atkins of Northern Cambria, Pa., and Angela (David Benning) Atkins of Indiana; nephews, Anthony Atkins, Alexander (Lauren) Atkins and Bernard (Megan) Sarra; and niece, Victoria Sarra. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Jules and Catherine Bethem and Ralph and Angeline Gregg; and his stepfather, Dale Atkins. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Calvary Cemetery, Charleroi. Arrangements by CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
