Betty Jean Byron – Monessen

Betty Jean Byron, 90, passed away peacefully April 11, 2022, in her Monessen home, with her son by her side. She was born in Monessen on March 17, 1932, daughter of the late Andre and Mildred Dowlin Zdella. Mrs. Byron was Episcopalian by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Byron; sister, Carol Zdella; brother, Donald Dowlin; and sister, June Kull. Surviving are her son, Donald W. “Buzzy” Byron and fiancée, Mary “T” Greer; brother, Paul Ramsey; three grandsons, Donald Byron and girlfriend Janet, Matthew Byron and wife Becca and Johnathan Byron and wife Caite; great-grandson, Emmitt Byron; former daughter-in-law, Kathleen Byron; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen. Online condolences may be conveyed to the Byron family at www.rhomefuneralhome.com.
