Richard ‘Rickey’ Stephen Auth – Monongahela

Richard “Rickey” Stephen Auth, 68, of Monongahela, Fallowfield Township, died Friday, April 1, 2022, in the South Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 27, 1953, in North Charleroi, the beloved, cherished son of the late Regis J. Auth and Julia L. Wassel Auth, who survives and resides in Fallowfield Township. Rickey was a 1972 graduate of Charleroi High School. He was formerly employed at Lee Norse Co. in Charleroi and the Fallowfield Township Maintenance Department. He was an active social member of the Fallowfield Township Fire Department. Rickey was an avid car lover and attended car shows with his friends for many years. He enjoyed hunting and helping his neighbors and friends. Rickey was a compassionate, loving person who was full of fun and loved having a good time. He thought the world of his many nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Peggy Pellegrini of Fallowfield Township and Marlane Spitznagel of Rostraver Township; nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Bill) Payne, Jamie (Antonia) Pellegrini, Bethany (D.J.) Pellegrini, Julie (Eric) Zubovic, Michael (Jill) Spitznagel and Adam (Danielle) Spitznagel; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 W. Main St., Monongahela. Anyone planning to attend is asked to go directly to the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 722 W. Main St., Monongahela, PA 15063 or to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
