Jean Paradise – Imperial, Pa., formerly of Webster

Jean Paradise, 100, a longtime resident of Webster, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022, at her home in Imperial, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Paradise; her grandson, Pat Creighton; a great-great-granddaughter, Tessa Divelbliss; two sons-in-law, John Poroda of Monongahela and Alex Mastroianni, formerly of Monongahela, who resided in Lockport, N.Y.; and her sister, Margaret Irwin of Irwin, Pa. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Sandy Poroda of Washington, Pa., Mrs. Andrea Mastroianni of Lockport, N.Y., and Mrs. P.J. (Jim) Schreibeis of Imperial, Pa., with whom she has resided for the last six years; eight grandchildren, Jamie Poroda Divelbliss, John Poroda Jr. (Cathy), Toni Poroda (Lisa Burby), Jay Poroda (Jay Trainer), Joanie Mastroianni Johnson Owens (David), Lee Mastroianni (Lori), Cindy Creighton Curran (James), her step-granddaughter, Stacey Schreibeis; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Herrick Compassionate Funeral Service, PC 951 Cliff Mine Road Imperial, PA 15126. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Church in Imperial. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Promedica Hospice Memorial Fund, 750 Holiday Drive, Foster Plaza 9, Suite 110, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 or donate online at promedicaseniorcare.org/giving.
