Tosca Affinito, 100, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022, at North Strabane Rehabilitation and Wellness in Canonsburg. She was born Dec. 14, 1921, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Gino and Nicolina Macconi. Tosca was a 1939 graduate of Monongahela High School. She was a terrific cook and enjoyed sewing and being a homemaker and caring for her family. She led a simple life, enjoying spending time with her family and friends. Tosca celebrated her 100th birthday in December and was the last of her immediate family. On July 26, 1941, she married James J. Affinito, who passed away on March 22, 1999. Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Norman (Darla) Affinito of Canonsburg; daughter-in-law, Karen Affinito; grandchildren, Toni (Scott) Heinen, Blake (Jackie) Affinito and Alysa (Craig) McCann; and great-grandchildren, Ayden, Sydney and Emylia Heinen. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband, are her son, Ronald Affinito; granddaughter, Shawna Affinito; and sister, Ada Falappi. Friends and family are welcome Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 11 a.m. at SALANDRA FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES INC., Joseph P.
