Deborah Lang Prentice, 65, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2022, in her home, with her loving family by her side. Born in North Charleroi on Oct. 22, 1956, Deborah was the daughter of the late John and Sarah Davis Lang. Catholic by faith, Deborah enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, listening to country music, riding horses when she was younger and fun Saturday nights at the VFW in Charleroi. However, what Deborah enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. Surviving to cherish Deborah’s memory is her son, Scottie (girlfriend Amber Sherbondy) Hallam; her sister, Jacqueline (Randall Davis) Lang; brothers, Joseph (Christine) Davidson, Dennis Lang and Johnny (Sheri) Lang; her grandchildren, Dajanell and Dominic Hallam; nieces and nephews; Patricia Presock, Angela Lint, Jessica Devore, Joshua Lang and Christopher Piper; great-nieces and great-nephews; and her dog, Buttercup, whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Lang Baker. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022, at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC. (formerly Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home), 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022. Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. with Pastor Tom Harding officiating.
