Richard “Butch” Gray Sr., 77, of Rostraver Township, formerly of Roscoe, died peacefully at home with family by his side, to walk with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Born April 24, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Okla., he was the son of the late Gloria Gray. Richard served in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed by Corning Glass and Frank’s Auto in Charleroi. In his retirement, Butch enjoyed spending time with friends and family and going to the Meadows Casino. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Muzina Gray; son, Richard Gray Jr. of Carnegie; daughter, Brandy (Jason) Hall of West Newton; grandchildren, Jade (Joe) Gray, Sydney, Delainey, Gelsey and Spencer Gray; special granddogs, Molly, Mickey and Maggie; brothers-in-law, Donald Zahand and Ralph Zdravecky, nieces and nephews, Donnie, Danny and Lisa Zahand; Marty and Jody Shemansky, Maria Wadswroth, Charli Wainscott and Danielle Akolade. The family would like to thank the loving care given to Richard by the Allegheny Health Network Hospice Team. As per Richard’s wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to MELENYZER FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICES INC. 1008 Furlong Ave., Roscoe. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.melenyzer.com.
