White Oak mother’s cancer battle brings family and friends together for ‘healing ceremony’

Saturday was all about good vibes for Jeanne Berger and a group of her longtime friends and several family members. A group of 12 or so people who adore Jeanne, her daughter Kelsey, 32, and her other child Zoey, 29, planned and executed a unique surprise celebration of life Saturday at Sunnie Vibes Studio, a yoga and wellness studio in White Oak. The gathering was dubbed a “healing ceremony” and served as a celebration of “life, love, peace, tranquility, new beginnings, grace and beauty,” and as a vehicle to send good, healing vibes to a family that’s had a lot on their collective plate lately.
