Donald Bell – Perryopolis

Donald Bell, 95, of Perryopolis, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. A son of the late Charles and Kate Karcesky Bell, he was born in Fayette City on March 13, 1927. A veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees in the Pacific Theater, Donald was a manager at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a member of Fayette City Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary M. Walt Bell; a son, Donald V. Bell of Latrobe; and a grandson, Scott Vincent Bell of Connellsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Alan Bell, on March 1, 1968; a sister, Dorothy Brewer; and two brothers, Edward Bell and Charles Bell. There will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com, 724-929-5300. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
