Mark Williams, 64, of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 7, 1957, in Monongahela, son of Marguerite Spencer Kerr of Monongahela, who survives. Mark grew up in Monongahela and was a 1975 graduate of Ringgold High School. Two years later, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving his country for over two years. Mark was retired from Monongahela Valley Hospital, where he was employed as a maintenance supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Mark had a special knack for getting the full use out of everything and was always ready to lend a hand. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda M. Manges Williams; two daughters, Marla Williams of Columbia, S.C., and Brittany (Frank) Irey of Monessen; two brothers, Andrew (Tracy) Kerr and Pete (Jennifer) Kerr; two sisters, Marty Jay (Ken) Kurios and Susan (James) Guglielmi; three grandchildren, Alyssia Williams, Kellan Sickles, and Linda Irey; and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Andrew “Stump” Kerr. A private family viewing was held at DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.
