Herbert Drinkwater – Belle Vernon

Herbert Drinkwater, 91, of Belle Vernon, died Friday, March 4, 2022. Born in New Eagle on May 21, 1930, he was the son of the late Herbert and Elizabeth Scanlon Drinkwater. Herbert was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughter, Susan D. (Charles N.) Coatsworth of Exton, Pa.; granddaughter, Kimberly (Raymond) Pirollo; grandson, Charles N. Coatsworth Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Susanna Pirollo and Raymond Pirollo Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Mae Mourier Drinkwater, in 2018. At Herbert’s request, there was no public visitation. Interment was in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to JAMES C.
