Roy A Stinogle – Monessen

By obits

Roy A Stinogle, 70, of Monessen, passed peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2022, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on Sept. 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Blaine and Mary Pernelli Stinogle. Roy was an active member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, always eager to lend a hand with the fish frys, church festival or at any parish activity where help was needed. Roy also loved helping his neighbors with snow removal and lawn care. Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by a brother, Blaine Stinogle. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Frieda Stinogle; along with cousins, nephews and nieces. He is sadly missed by Russell and Mavis Perney, to whom Roy became a part of their family; and special friend and caregiver, Nancy Milinovich. Roy will be missed, but always remembered, for walking the streets of Monessen and talking to those he encountered along the way. Friends will be received Thursday, March 10, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Epiphany of Our Lord Church with Father Michael Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at billicksfuneralhome.com.
