Minnie Gallo Hauth – Belle Vernon

Minnie Gallo Hauth, 94, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at her home. Born June 19, 1927, in Newell, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose McCune Gallo. She was a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 69 years, having previously resided in Newell, and was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. Minnie was retired from Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Co., where she worked as a general clerk, was a member of the Anita Garibaldi Society, the Belle Vernon & Fayette City Golden Age Assembly, the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V. Court 1522 and the former Belle Vernon American Legion 659 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Maire Hauth of Carolina Shores, N.C., Kathryn Hauth of Belle Vernon; and a brother, John Gallo of Newell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Hauth in 1970; and three brothers, Dominic Gallo, Angelo Gallo and Dominic Gallo. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of transfer will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of the Anita Garibaldi Society will conduct services at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
