Gary Dubinsky – Belle Vernon

Gary Dubinsky, 69, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022. A son of the late Arthur and Edith Stewart Dubinsky, he was born in Pricedale on Aug. 10, 1952. Gary had been a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Monessen and American Legion Post 22 in Charleroi. Gary served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and had been employed at ECM Trucking as an over-the-road driver for 35 years, retiring in 2017. Gary enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a dog lover, always having had a dog in his home. In 2016, he lost his dog, Buddy and currently he has Zoey, a German shepherd. Born in Pricedale and raised in Belle Vernon, he also lived in Florence, Ky., and Charleroi prior to moving back to Belle Vernon. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Timmy Rose of Charleroi; two sons, Andrew Dubinsky of Delaware and Timothy Dubinsky of Pittsburgh; a sister, Janice Dubinsky, with whom he made his home in Belle Vernon; a niece, Corrin Dubinsky of Overland Park, Kan.; and nephews, Alan Dubinsky (Karen Hixson) of Portland, Ore., and Drew Dubinsky of Lawrence, Kan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur J. Dubinsky. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Steve Wahal officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
