Jean Odessa Davis, 83, of Donora, departed this earthly life for a better one on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.  She was born Sept. 29, 1938, to the late Kenneth Davis Sr and Fostella Davis Palmer. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, baptized by the late Rev. Walter E. McBrayer, A graduate of the former Donora High School, Class of 1958. She was employed at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Jean was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; two uncles; two aunts; grandson, Devon; and brother, Kenneth. She leaves to mourn her passing her faithful and loving daughter, Regina, who took care of her; son, Eugene; grandchildren, Shiann, Jade, Anthony and Ryan; sister, Emma Fraley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Viewing will take place from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at HOUSE OF JACKSON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, with the service starting at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church, 49 S. McKean Ave., Donora, with the Rev. Lee Haney officiating. Final celebration of life has been gently placed in the hands of House of Jackson Memorial Chapel, 546 Thompson Ave., Donora, Karl Jackson, funeral director, 724-379-5420.
