Harold H. Herron Jr. – Donora

Harold H. Herron Jr., 70, of Donora, fell off to sleep on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Harold H. and Vera R. Morton Herron, he was born on April 18, 1951, in North Charleroi. A lifelong Mon Valley resident, Harold was employed for over 30 years at Mon Valley Hospital and was an “Ask Me Greeter” at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, serving as a volunteer and loved his dogs. Survivors include his friends and co-workers, Vicki and Gene Seighman of Monongahela; a brother, Carl Herron; a sister, Sandra Schaming; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Totin. Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-5300, www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. Pastor Gene Seighman will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
