Jaimyn Grace Rauchfuss, 23, of Van Voorhis, passed away suddenly on Feb. 19, 2022, when a train collided with her car in Monongahela. Jaimyn was born on Sept. 2, 1998, to Joanna Zelinsky and Kevin Rauchfuss of Charleroi. She was a 2017 graduate of Charleroi Area High School. At the time of her death, she was working as a cook for Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Monongahela. As a high school student, she was an avid cheerleader. She loved the beach, saving stray animals, traveling and spending time with her friends, family and especially with her beloved dog, Kilo. She was preceded in death by her father, Kevin Rauchfuss, and paternal grandmother, Diane Rauchfuss, both of Charleroi; as well as her paternal great aunt, Marlene Molesky of Charleroi. She is survived by her fiancé, Alexcia Matinsky of Monessen; canine son, Kilo; mother, Joanna Zelinsky; brother, Ethan Rauchfuss; maternal grandmother, Darlene Zelinsky; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Zelinsky; paternal grandfather, Frank Rauchfuss Sr.; aunts, April (Christian) Pfrogner and Carrie Perine; uncle, Frank Rauchfuss Jr.; and cousins, James Campbell, Jordan Campbell, Joseph Campbell, Joshua Addis, Jacob Addis, Jessica Addis, Liberty Addis, Mary Addis, Bryant Melville and Sophia Pfrogner. Her burial arrangements are being kept private. All who loved her are invited to join in the celebration of Jaimyn’s life on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at Monongahela VFW Post 1409, located at 793 E. Main St. The family will receive guests beginning at 4 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., 235 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi.
