Harry Roy Crownover – Forward Township

Harry Roy Crownover, 82, of Forward Township, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at his home that he designed and built. He was born March 29, 1939, in Jefferson Township and was the son of the late Ralph Melvin and Helen Ida Blumenstein Crownover. Harry was a machinist and jack of all trades. He was retired from WHEMCO Steel Casting and had previously worked for U.S. Steel Irvin Works, Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel and Tuscaloosa Steel. He was an avid motorcycle rider, was highly artistically creative and loved woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Arlene F. Clark Crownover; sons, Harry R. (Christine) Crownover Jr. of Moon Township and Glenn A. (Jayne) Crownover of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Dakota and Cole Crownover; sister, Karen Ann (Tim) Kruszka of Flatwoods; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie Crownover and Kenneth Crownover; and sisters, Betty Walsh and Janet Dolton. There is no visitation. A celebration of life service will be held a later date. Arrangements are by GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township, 412-751-5000, Drew J.
