Lucille ‘Lucia’ G. Biseda – Monessen

Lucille “Lucia” G. Biseda, 94, of Monessen, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, in The Residence at Hilltop. She was born on Jan. 1, 1928, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Anthony and Sarafina Castiglia Lupoli. She was a 1945 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the Italian-American Heritage Society. She was retired from A&P Supermarket. She also worked at Corning Glass and at the 5&10, where she met her late husband, Frank. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael. Surviving are her daughter, Rita (Rick) Balogh of Rostraver Township; son, Stephen Biseda of Carrollton, Ga.; grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Balogh; grandson, Aaron Biseda; great-grandchildren, Kayley and Keelan Biseda; and sister, Gloria Lawrence of Irwin. Arrangements have been entrusted to DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, Monessen. A private funeral Mass was held at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, and entombment followed in Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum.
