Glassport will be home to a new off-road vehicle park. During council’s meeting Tuesday, state Sen. Jim Brewster, D-McKeesport, and Rep. Nick Pisciottano, D-West Mifflin, presented ceremonial grant checks totaling $574,500 to officials for a number of projects, including an off-road vehicle park. Council President Elaina Skiba said the park has been in the planning stage since 2019, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Once complete, this facility will provide trails for local residents to enjoy off-roading in a safe and responsible manner.
