Vicki Lynn Sutherland, 65, of Monongahela, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, in her home. She was born June 1, 1956, in North Charleroi, the daughter of Dorothy Caskey Maser, who survives and resides in Eldora, and the late Arthur Maser. Vicki was a graduate of Donora High School, Class of 1974. She was the manager for Dollar General in Donora until its closing and then went on to work at several of its other locations. She then was employed at Pennatronics in California, where she retired in 2016. A homemaker, Vicki enjoyed crafts, plastic canvas and beaded banners, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Tracy Benney and husband Aaron of Monongahela; son, Cory Sutherland of New Eagle; grandchildren, Alexander and Gabriella Benney; sister, Lorrie Paul and husband Robert of Cabot; two brothers-in-law, Gery Sutherland and wife Janice, and Scott Sutherland and wife Pat, all of Monongahela; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark David Sutherland, who died Oct. 6, 2016; and her sister, Daryle Gardner-Bonneau and husband John Robert. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, with Pastor Tom Fodi officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
