Margaret Sukla – Monongahela

Margaret Sukla, 95, of Monongahela, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022. She was born May 3, 1926, in Monessen, the daughter of Michael and Helen Slavic Pavlo. Margaret was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church in Charleroi. She was employed at the Monongahela Memorial Hospital in New Eagle as an aide for several years. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Hreno of Charleroi, and Sheila Sukla and son John Michael Sukla, both of Monongahela; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Hreno of Charleroi and Lori (Omar) Roman of Texas; and a great-grandson, Alaric Roman of Texas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Sukla, who died Sept. 12, 1976; two brothers, Michael and George Pavlo; and two sisters, Helen and Elizabeth Pavlo. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
