Teri Joy Mitchell, 66, of Elizabeth, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022. Born in Trenton, N.J., on Jan. 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Russell H. and Carolyn Powell Theobald. Teri was a district secretary for the Allegheny County Assistance Office. She was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish – St. Michael Church. She enjoyed watching sports, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and attended many Steelers games. She loved her grandchildren and especially enjoyed spending time with them. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Mitchell; son, Russell (Dawn) Mitchell of West Newton; daughters, Jessica Mitchell and Wendy Mitchell, both of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Charli, Emmi, Johnny, Natalie, Brandi and Riley; and her sister, Tami Theobald of Irwin. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. Monday at Saints Joachim and Anne Parish – St. Michael Church, 101 McLay Drive, Elizabeth, for a funeral Mass with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner presiding. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
