Leopards top Gators in OT thriller

Presleigh Colditz banked in a game-tying three with less than five seconds remaining in regulation and Jenna Dawson hit a go-ahead shot from long range to give the Leopards the lead for good with 50 seconds left in the extra period to lead Belle Vernon Area to a 67-63 win over Gateway in a thrilling non-section contest Wednesday.
The Leopards (15-4) hit a season-high 11 3-pointers in the game, five from Viva Kreis as she led the way with 23 points for the winners.
