Stephen Drechsler – Port Vue

Stephen Drechsler, age 85, of Port Vue, died on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022. He was born in Wysowa, Poland, on Aug. 5, 1936, and is the son of the late John and Mary Babich Drechsler. He was a member of the U.S. Army and worked as a line inspector at U.S. Steel for most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Kwiatkowski Drechsler; son, John Drechsler of Port Vue; daughter, Cindy (William) Griffiths of North Huntingdon; and grandchildren, India Drechsler and William Griffiths. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sophie Riggin. Family and friends were received at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177, from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2022. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, Saint Eugene Church, 3210 Liberty Way, Liberty Borough, PA 15133, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022. Burial to follow.
