George H. Leaver – Monongahela

George H. Leaver, 84, of Monongahela, died on Jan. 29, 2022, at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1937, in New Eagle, a son of the late Albert and Irene Baxter Leaver. He was retired from U.S. Steel in Duquesne and from the Ringgold School District, where he worked in maintenance. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of James C. Ford Post 949 of the American Legion. He also enjoyed spending time at his cabin. He is survived by his son, Michael Leaver of West Mifflin; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Huffman of Monongahela. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Carole Goodlin Leaver; a stepson, Joseph D. Pacolay; and a sister, Wanda Haddad.
