Dawn Marie Sosnak, 53, of Monongahela, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born on April 1, 1968, in New Eagle, a daughter of the late Joseph Bosdosh and Rosalind Valentino Bosdosh, who survives and resides in Monongahela. Dawn was employed for the past 16 years at Sheetz in Rostraver Township. She enjoyed woodworking, art and nature walks. In addition to her mother, Dawn is also survived by her soul mate, Pierre Roddy; three children, Joshua (Kristen) Sosnak of Wind Ridge, Jeremiah (Courtney) Sosnak of Scottdale and Natawsja Sosnak of Ruffsdale; three grandchildren, Marissa, Isaac and Millie Mae Sosnak; two sisters, Valerie Lahti of Allenport and Tami Bosdosh of Monongahela; and lastly her three furry four-legged babies, Ish, Baba and Meisha. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, with Pierre Roddy officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
