Michael Anthony Fincik II – Rostraver Township

Michael Anthony Fincik II, 45, of Rostraver Township, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, after a short illness. Born in Monongahela on Sept. 26, 1976, he was the son of Michael A. Sr. and Mary E. Sones Fincik of Fellsburg/Rostraver. Michael worked heavy construction and he loved animals, especially his cat, Kiik. He loved the outdoors and liked to watch the deer when he fed them. He always loved sharing his Dad’s Barbeque Sauce with his great close friends and especially the late Alan Greenwood, whom he considered his “little brother.” Michael was “larger than life” and had impeccable integrity. In addition to his parents, he is survived by five sisters and a brother-in-law, Natalie Fincik of Vero Beach, Fla., Melanie Shemesh of Donora (Harold Shemesh of Fla.), Kara Babick of Rostraver, Jennifer Rhoderick of Rostraver and Michele Girdany of Pittsburgh; numerous nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly; and a great-niece, Aryia. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1. Interment will follow in Fells Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests everyone to come to celebrate his life and share memories.
