Russell Allen Madden – Charleroi

Russell Allen Madden, 67, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Jan. 23, 2022, at St. Clair Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 17, 1954, Russell is the son of Frank and the late JoAnne (Abbott) Madden. In his free time, Russell enjoyed watching sports, long walks and spending time with his family. Russell is survived by his wife, Mary Rossi Madden; and children, Russell (girlfriend Jocelyn Klett) Madden, Rachel (fiancé Justin Rich) Madden, Nicole (Prenell Barner) Madden, Steven (girlfriend Bri) Madden and Christopher (Adrienne Stima) Madden; grandchildren Gia Barner and Rosalyn Ray Rich; father, Frank Madden; sister Cheryl Lennex; four other siblings; and his furry friend, Zoey. In addition to his mother JoAnne, Russell is preceded in death by his son, Chad Madden; and his brother, Bruce. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m. at HOGAN-MELENYZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., (formerly Schrock- Hogan Funeral Home), 226 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022, Kirk Russell Melenyzer, funeral director. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Jan. 29, 2022, with Pastor Jeff Martin officiating. Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required inside of the funeral home.
