Anthony ‘Tony’ Kenney – Monessen

Anthony “Tony” Kenney, 54, of Monessen, departed this life Jan. 22, 2022. He was born May 19, 1967, the son of Judith Kenney. A 1985 graduate of Monessen High School, Tony had a love for people and was voted best all-around-athlete by his classmates, lettering in football, baseball and basketball his senior year. After attending California University of Pennsylvania, he served in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he was employed by both Master Lee and the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to his mother, Tony leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Paul “Mister” and John “Pekoe” Kenney; one sister, Jerri “Missy” Alasoufi; sons, T.J. Harris and Marcus Lomax; daughters, Sasha Kenney and Aushiah Jackson. Tony will also be greatly missed by his loving nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends, including Dale Simpson and special friend, Dawn Fleming. Friends will be received Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m., immediately followed by a memorial service at Union Baptist Church, 670 McMahon Ave., Monessen Pa., 15062. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 645 McMahon Ave., Monessen Pa., 15062, Trudy L. Taylor, director in charge.
