Daniel S. Mosco, 65, of Fallowfield Township, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. A son of the late Fred and Irene Meluck Mosco, he was born in Monongahela, on May 28, 1956. Dan was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen, the Indian Hill Saddle Club and a former member of the Monessen Lions Club. He had been self-employed as a general contractor and was the former owner of the Alpine Club in Monessen. Dan was an avid horse lover, having two of his own, Racey and Pokey, and his beloved dog, Sam. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Annette and Sam Miceli of Speers; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Peggy Mosco of Latrobe, Fred and Valerie Mosco of Farmington, James and Holly Mosco of Fallowfield Township, and Raymond and Tracy Mosco of Fallowfield Township; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Keenan, Annabel, Lucas, Hannah, Gina, Lia, Samuel, Cory and Laine; and a great-nephew, Maverick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Katie Miceli, in 1996. Per Dan’s request, friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in “Dan’s Garage,” 45 Gun Club Road, Charleroi, PA 15022. A funeral Mass will be held at Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Monessen, at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Michael Crookston as celebrant. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
