Dan M. Moody, 54, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, died in the ER/outpatient services. He was born March 6, 1967, in Charle- roi, son of Raymond E. Moody Sr. and Daryl Morgan Moody. We lost a great son, husband, father, brother and friend. He was a member of Fayette City/Washington Township Lions Club, Naomi AC Club, East Belle Vernon Athletic Club and Tri-County Lodge No. 252 F.&A.M. Dan was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School and California University of Pennsylvania. He was a former supervisor for Washington Township. Dan was the Mon Valley Misfits reigning champ. He is survived by his parents; his wife, Ricki J. Moody; daughter, Jessica Lauman and husband Matthew; brother, Raymond E. Moody Jr. and wife Elizabeth; brother, Don L. Moody and wife Brenda; brother, Ricky E. Moody and wife Anita; nephew, Scott Thomas and Vicki; niece, Samantha Moody and Josh; and nephew, Nick Moody. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, Fayette City, www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, in the social room of Washington Township Fire Station, 1314 Axton Ave., Belle Vernon, Pa. The family would like you to wear your favorite sports team shirt or your favorite 1980s band T-shirt for the celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fayette City/Washington Township Lions Club, P.O. Box 245, Fayette City, PA 15438.
