Robert L. Zolock ‘Uncle Bob’ – Belle Vernon

Robert L. Zolock, “Uncle Bob,” of Belle Vernon, passed away on Jan. 11, 2022. Robert was born March 2, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, son of Sara Ann Sepashe Zolock and Edward R. Zolock Sr. Robert graduated in 1966 from Belle Vernon Area High School. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. Robert retired from USX Irvin Works after almost 35 years. He continued to be active after retirement through various occupations. He was a member of St. Joseph Chapel in Belle Vernon. “Uncle Bob” was also a member of PNA No. 976, Arnold City, where he was a cook for many years. Robert is survived by a brother-in-law, Allan J. (Debi) Buza of Belle Vernon; and sister-in-law, Alvera Zolock of Rostraver Township. He is survived by five nephews, Allan (Susan) Buza of Belle Vernon, Daniel (Wendy) Buza of Elizabeth, Jeffrey (Cheri) Buza of Dawson, Ronald Zolock of Verno Beach, Fla., and Brian Zolock of Rostraver Township. Uncle Bob is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, Shane (Brittany) O’Toole of Allison Park, Anthony Morris of Wickhaven, SaraAnn Buza of Belle Vernon and Samantha Buza of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Sara E. Zolock, in 1993; and brother, Edward R. Zolock Jr., in 2007. At the request of Robert, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date.
